This prototype MB is based on our latest 26-CB blueprints and is designed for players with a handicap of 10 and below.

A slightly stronger bounce angle, combined with a narrowed sole grind at the heel and trailing edge, provides the right amount of turf relief and added assistance for steeper attack angles and compressed ball contact.

The head is configured with minimal offset and an even thinner topline, while maintaining traditional loft specifications, with the pitching wedge set at 47°

A classic logo engraving on the upper muscle, combined with the knurled neck finish, carries forward key design elements from our discontinued MB-1 and MB Pro models.

• MB-1 → Pure player’s blade. Most compact and most workable. (50 mm face width)
• 88-B2 → Traditional blade with a little extra forgiveness. (50 mm face width)
• 26-MB Prototype → Larger blade with a new forging mold. (53 mm face width)
• 88-B3 → Semi-hollow construction with the most forgiveness while still maintaining a blade appearance. (55 mm face width)

このプロトタイプMBは、最新の26-CB設計図をベースに、ハンディキャップ10以下のプレーヤーを想定した、PW47°設計の正統派マッスルです。

これまでのモデルに比べてバウンス角をやや強めに設定し、ヒールおよびトレーリング側を絞り込んだナローソールにより、鋭いダウンブローでのインパクト時にも程よいサポート性能を発揮し、気持ちの良い抜け感をもたらします。

アッパーマッスル部のクラシックロゴ刻印とナーリング仕上げのネックには、MB-1および廃盤となったMB Proから受け継いだデザイン要素を取り入れています。
